Adult Pool Classes

Adult Aquatics Classes


Group aquatics classes are well-attended at the JCC. Aquatics are beneficial to adults in many ways. From relieving stress to strengthening muscles, or using it as a form of rehabilitation, this low-impact exercise can benefit any age.

Aqua Jogging:
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:15 - 10:05 am
Aqua jogging s a low impact form of exercise that uses water resistance to avoid
muscle soreness, stress fractures and aching joints.

Swimnastics:
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, 9:00 - 9:50 am
Stretching, water strengthening exercises, aerobics, heart monitoring and individual
special need exercises included. Entire class is performed in the shallow end of the pool.

Active Adult Pool Fitness:
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, 10:00 - 10:50 am
All exercises performed in the shallow end of the pool. Improve
flexibility, balance, & strengthen weak muscles while having fun.

Water Aerobics:
Mondays, Wednesdays, 5:30 - 6:30 pm
Saturdays, 9:00 - 10:00 am
Water exercise will allow you to get all the benefits of land aerobics without all the stress to your joints.

Masters Swimming
Saturdays, 8:00-9:00 am
Sundays, 8:00-9:30 am

Masters Swimming is a program for adults who want to improve their fitness
and/or competitive stroke development. The group consists of beginners, triathletes, and advanced swimmers.
