Kim Tanimoto has always loved weight training having seen the benefits immediately. The best part of being a personal trainer is the ability to help others live a better quality of life through fitness. She is well versed in back pain, having experienced a long lasting injury, surgery and recovery. Though this road was long and winding it was exercise that has proven to not only strengthen the body but also the mind to get through this and many of life’s difficulties. Core strength and functional fitness have become her new passion. She graduated from Branford Hall Career Institute’s Personal Fitness Trainer and holds Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Weight Loss Specialist (WLS) certificates with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as well as KFitUSA – Kettlebell Level I certification. Ongoing studies include: Balance Training with BOSU as well as Corrective Exercise and Women’s Fitness.
