Community Service

Community Service is fun - come check out DJST - "Don’t Just Sit There," the teen community service social group now for 8th grade - high school teens. 

JCC Maccabi Games

Are you a Jewish teen ages 13- 16 as of July 31, 2012?  Ask Amy about the JCC Maccabi Games and how to get registered. Springfield is traveling this year to Rockland JCC in NY for the Games from August 12-17, 2012. Register now for Team SPRINGFIELD.  Team Sports include Soccer, Basketball, Girls' Volleyball, and Girls' Lacrosse. Individual Sports include: Bowling, Dance, Golf, Swimming, Table Tennis, and Tennis. If you participated this summer, you know how fun it is - now let's bring Springfield back on the road with a big delegation! Contact Amy at akimball@springfieldjcc.org

Theatrix - Teen Theater

Join Theatrix, a year-round JCC Teen Drama Club, for 8th - high school. Sometimes productions require local college participation. Theatrix has workshops, productions, opportunities to direct, act, sing, tech, create scenery and more. 

Theatrix draws participants from more than 10 local schools each year.  Open to JCC members $50 and Nonmembers $75. This is a great deal for a year round drama club. Last year's production of "Hairspray" showed the community what amazing talent is in Theatrix and that everyone can be a part because "You Can't Stop the Beat!" Friendships were made! Talents were enriched! New skills were learned!

SNL

Join us for the 2011 - 2012 SNL season for 6th - 8th grades. October 15, November 5 & 12, December 3, January 7 & 28 and February 11 (Dates are subject to change so always check first) 7-10 pm $5 for JCC members, $8 for nonmembers

Come Dance, Play in the Gym or Hang out and Play in the Game Room

Team Sports

You can join our swim team or basketball leagues.

Fitness

Teens are invited to join our Health & Fitness Center, take classes and register for personal trainings and the new TRX classes. For more information, contact Elizabeth, Fitness Director elenart@springfieldjcc.org
