Super Tot Gym and Swim

Parents often want to know how to help their child improve in the pool. The easiest way to help your swimmer is to make sure that they have good goggles. We sell good Speedo googles at the checkpoint in the PE department. 3-5 years The class will consist of forty-five minutes of physical education activities emphasizing gross motor skills and thirty minutes of pool activities including swim instruction and games.
Beginner Swim Lessons Levels One, Two and Three (ages 3+)

Swim for Tots

6 months through 3 years Children learn to be comfortable in the water and will learn to swim with a bubble and/or cheerios. Parents must participate in this class.

Beginner Swim Lessons

Level One – This class is designed to help your child become acclimated to the water. Participants learn how to blow bubbles and go underwater. They also experience what it is like to swim with no flotation aid for part of the class. Level Two – In level two, children learn to swim on their own for short distances and improve other skills such as breathing and swimming underwater. Level Three – Children begin to learn formal strokes in level three such as freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke. Survival skills are introduced such as treading water and survival floating. There is also an increased focus on endurance and being able to swim long distances without stopping. Participants also learn how to dive.
