Administrative Assistant

Reports to: Director of Development

General Purpose: Assists the Director of Development in all administrative functions of the department

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Administrative documentation of:

  • Annual Campaign

  • Capital Campaign

  • Legacy Program

  • Endowments

Data Base and Records Management:

  • Manages and updates databases and files

Website, Social Media, Newsletter, and all collateral Material:

  • Assists in the creation and distribution of marketing materials

Grants:

  • Assists in researching and identifying grant opportunities for the JCC

  • Assists in writing, preparing, reviewing, and submitting grants on behalf of the JCC

General Office Administration:

  • Clerical support for the Director of Development

  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned on an on-going basis

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred

  • 3-5 years nonprofit experience preferred

  • Excellent computer skills with preferred experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, CSI, and Abila

  • Excellent written, research, and presentation skills

  • Self-motivated

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Works well in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet regular deadlines

Compensation:

  • $40,000 annually plus benefits
