Club Kehillah is open to participants ages 22+. Classes and /or trips are based on wants and needs to ensure a good experience for all.
Many of the social and community events have a minimum and maximum number of participants, so please sign up early!
What does Club Kehillah offer?
The mission of the JCC Club Kehillah Adult Special Needs program is to provide quality recreational and enrichment programs for adults with special needs. We are committed to providing a welcoming and supportive environment where participants develop skills, independence, self esteem and cultivate meaningful relationships.
Who can participate?
Club Kehillah is designed for adults 22 years and older with cognitive, developmental and social challenges. All recreation and enrichment programming are designed to foster social, emotional and physical skills of participants. Our goal is to create a feeling of community at the JCC for individuals of all abilities. The Club Kehillah Program, like all programs at the JCC, is open to people of all faiths, ethnicities and beliefs.
When and where are classes held?
All classes are held at the Jewish Community Center Neal Weber Building 1160 Dickinson St. Springfield, MA, unless otherwise stated in the class description. Classes generally meet once per week on weekdays afternoons and on weekends.
