Project RIDE stands for Recreation, Independence, Development and Equipment.
Project RIDE provides children and young adults with special needs, modified tricycles and information about adaptive sports programs in Western Massachusetts. It is a program housed out of the Kehillah Special Needs Department at the Springfield Jewish Community Center. Our emphasis is on the importance of offering recreational adaptive tricycles to children with unique needs, offering them the opportunity to participate in bike riding with their friends and families.
Participants must be at least 44″ tall.
Would you like to participate?
1. Download the 3 registration forms from the Registration Page and get a signed note form your child’s doctor, physician, or physical or occupational therapist stating that this is an appropriate activity for them to participate in.
2. Return the 3 forms and doctor’s note to Tina Edwards at firstname.lastname@example.org, mailing them to 1160 Dickinson Street, Springfield, MA, 01108, or sending it via fax at 413-739-4747
3. Tina will contact you to confirm receipt of the paperwork and when a bike becomes available she will give you a call!
