J Students present ‘Snow White Re-imagined’ – the movie

Over the summer, J-Art was busy offering four weeks of theater camp at a social distance.  In keeping with the theme of social distance with a theatrical flair, the students re-imagined the classic fairy tale Snow White, and created and shot a movie right here at 1160 Dickinson Street.  More than a dozen campers contributed to the movie, which was edited into a 15-minute masterpiece!  However, for a amazing as the final product is, the path to the movie is even better.

“Watching these campers interact with peers for the first time in months was so joyful,” said Seth Stutman, one of the JStaff members who worked on the film.  “These kids were so happy to be enjoying the sunshine together, and bring able to have even the slightest bit of normalcy was great for the campers … and for me!”
