Thursday, October 28, 6:00 – 10:00 PM – Join us for a demonstration cooking class and learn how to make an impressive dinner with celebrated chef, Sandy D’Amato. Cooking demonstration begins at 6:00 PM and participants will get to enjoy the fruits of his labor served in a lovely dining room overlooking the garden and a beautiful view of the Connecticut River. Transportation will be provided for those interested. Dinner will be accompanied by wine pairings. Limited to 10. Menu includes:

  • Piedmontese fall vegetable minestrone soup
  • Roasted beet, fennel, and arugula salad with coriander vinaigrette
  • Seared salmon with leek broth and black olive dressing
  • Poppy seed cheese tart with toasted walnut crust and tart cherry crème

Instructor: Sandy D’Amato is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, is a James Beard Award-winning chef, and is the former owner of two critically-acclaimed restaurants in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is the author of Good Stock: Life on a Low Simmer.
