Wednesdays, April 19 – May 17, 4:30 – 6:30 PM –

An exciting five-week series, covering a host of issues facing our country. We will begin each session with a recorded or live speaker, and then enjoy a wide-ranging discussion on each presented topic. Currently on the schedule are the following: mass incarceration, climate justice and racial justice, radical hospitality, restorative justice and economics, and interrupting racial bias.

Instructor: Tim Oppenheimer, a JCC member, is a retired law professor, attorney, and union representative. As an attorney, he represented plaintiffs in civil rights cases, primarily employment discrimination, prevailing in significant sex discrimination cases. Since retiring, he has obtained an MSW and is currently doing Guardian Ad Litem work for the Juvenile Court.

Cost: $100 JCC members, $115 general public
