Wednesdays, October 13 – November 17 (6 Weeks), 10:00 – 11:30 AM – From the age of the Pharaohs to the 20th Century, explore the art, history, and architectural marvels of humankind across the Millennia. Dr. Sibelman’s lectures will introduce Egyptian art, explore the Bayeux Tapestry, dive deep into Virginia’s astonishing architectural and artist heritage, highlight Charles II’s artistic creativity, reveal the history of Faberge’s Imperial Easter Eggs, and remember Holocaust survivor Mayer July and his paintings that capture the richness of Jewish culture.

Instructor: Dr. Simon Sibelman is a Professor Emeritus of French at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and the Professor Emeritus of French and Judaic, Holocaust, and Peace Studies at Appalachian State University.
