Snapshots: Sharing Your Story During These Times

Everyone’s lives have been turned upside-down these past few months. What does your new lifestyle look like?

We’re asking our members to share pictures of how they’re spending their time social distancing. Are you exploring new hobbies? Are you working from impromptu home “offices?” Have you been taking more nature walks? Have you found new ways to connect with your family and friends? We’d love to see your photography skills put to the test to relay your experiences through this pandemic. Our goal is to share our members’ stories through social media, as well as in an online gallery and, when we reopen, an exhibit in our J-Gallery. All are welcome to participate!

Please note that by making a submission, you are allowing the Springfield Jewish Community Center to share your photographs and text on social media accounts, our website, and e-newsletters.

To participate in this project, please send the following in an email to arts@springfieldjcc.org:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Phone number
  • 1-3 photographs (pictures taken with cell phones are acceptable)
  • A short (1-3 sentences) description/artist statement

Please note: If you would like to submit photos, but wish to remain anonymous, we’d be happy to accommodate. Please indicate this request in your submission.
