Safe and Exciting Before- and After-School Care
The Springfield JCC offers child care for students in grades K - 5 from Longmeadow, Springfield, and East Longmeadow schools in our KidSpace and Children-at-Play (CAP) programs, as well as our Staycation programs during school vacation weeks. Students will enjoy enrichment classes, play sports, participate in arts and crafts, and receive homework assistance in a safe before- and after-school environment.

Children-at-Play (CAP)
Looking for a safe and exciting before- and after-school program that will challenge your child to make their own choices and create long-lasting friendships? Children-at-Play (CAP) brings all the fun of Springfield JCC's KidSpace program to East Longmeadow schools! Each day, students will have the opportunity to join enrichment classes, play sports, make arts and crafts, or complete homework. Our enthusiastic staff strive to create an exciting and safe before- and after-school environment..
KidSpace
Looking for a safe and exciting after-school program that will challenge your child to make their own choices and create long-lasting friendships? Join the KidSpace family! Each day, children will be greeted with a snack and then have the opportunity to engage in activities of their choosing. KidSpace participants can enroll in enrichment classes, as well as participate in games, sports, crafts, and activities led by experienced KidSpace staff and specialists. Additionally, staff is available for homework help and mentoring. Computers may be available for homework.
Staycation Weeks
Looking for child care during school vacation days, snow days, and half days? We’ve got you covered! Enroll in any Springfield JCC-sponsored after-school program and become eligible to attend our programs on half days and full days. Looking for programs during school vacation weeks? Your child can join us for fun days and field trips at the J.
Summer Camp
The Springfield JCC’s ACA-accredited Camp program provides full day childcare in a safe summer space for children in grades K - 10. We have talented specialists who lead programs in STEM, arts and crafts, archery, nature, and ropes courses on our 20-acre campus that sits conveniently on the Springfield/Longmeadow line.
