On Sunday, April 12, the Springfield Jewish Community Center will host the Mobile Museum of Tolerance (MMOT). The MMOT is a traveling educational experience with interactive workshops led by trained educators. In these workshops, students are given the proper tools to confront hate, embrace tolerance, and act for social change.
PJ Our Way is invited to attend a workshop on Sunday, April 12 from 2-3PM. The module is called, "Anne Frank: A Voice of Hope."
"Explore Anne Frank’s life and legacy; learn about courage in the face of adversity.
Discover Anne’s story through photos and her own words.
Understand the impact of the Holocaust on a young girl and her family.
Learn about the “upstanders” who risked their lives to help others during the Holocaust.
Reflect on the importance of tolerance and fighting prejudice."
Age: 5th grade and up
Pre-registration is required for this free event.
