Professor Justin Cammy of Smith College will help us understand the Israeli political system. In this session, we will not speak about who we want to win the elections; rather, we will learn how a new government is formed.

Justin Cammy is associate dean of the faculty and professor of Jewish Studies and of Comparative Literature. He oversees curricular operations, academic support centers, graduate and special programs, and faculty development.

Cammy’s research focuses on Yiddish literature. At Smith, he has taught a wide range of courses on Yiddish, Hebrew, Jewish American, and Holocaust literatures, while also helping students understand the histories that inform them.

Co-sponsored by Sinai Temple, Temple Beth El, and the Springfield JCC.
