Please join us for the opening reception of A Reason to Remember. This exhibit, which originated at the former Hatikvah Holocaust Education Center, is based on the personal stories of five Jewish families who lived in a rural German village before and during Nazi rule. The exhibit is appropriate for students in sixth grade and up

The opening reception is Sunday, November 15, from 1:00-3:00 PM, and will feature remarks by exhibit co-author Deborah Roth-Howe, who is the daughter of a survivor of Roth.

The exhibit is on view in the JCC's Youth & Family Studio (the former Hatikvah Center wing) from November 12 through December 18, 2026.
