Group Exercise Class Descriptions

NEW: Active Aging

Active Aging focuses on low-impact strength, balance, and mobility exercises designed specifically for older adults. You’ll use light dumbbells, resistance bands, and body-weight movements to improve everyday function. Gentle cardio intervals keep the heart healthy without stressing the joints. This class supports independence, confidence, and safer movement in daily life.

Alignment-Based Yoga

Alignment-Based Yoga focuses on precise alignment using props such as blocks, straps, and bolsters. Poses are held longer to build strength, body awareness, and stability. This style is especially beneficial for posture, joint health, and safe progression. It’s both thoughtful and deeply strengthening.

All Levels Yoga

This class blends stretching, mindful breathing, and strength-building poses that can be adapted for every ability level. Modifications and props are encouraged so participants can work at their own pace. The practice improves flexibility, posture, and core stability while reducing stress. You’ll leave feeling centered, relaxed, and restored.

Barre

Barre combines ballet-inspired movements with Pilates and light strength training. Expect small, controlled pulses, core work, and stability exercises which can be done using the barre or a chair. These movements tone the legs, glutes, core, and arms while improving posture and balance. The result is a low-impact yet highly-effective, full-body workout.

Beginner's Yoga

Beginner’s Yoga introduces foundational poses, breathing techniques, and gentle stretches at a slow pace. The instructor focuses on alignment and safe transitions between movements. It’s ideal for new participants or anyone returning to exercise. You’ll build confidence, flexibility, and calm body awareness.

Better Balance

Better Balance trains coordination, stability, and reaction time using targeted drills and functional exercises. You’ll practice controlled stepping patterns, single-leg stances, and light strength work. The class helps reduce fall risk and supports safer movement in daily activities. It’s especially helpful for older adults and those recovering confidence after injury.

Body Bar

Body Bar uses weighted bars for strength training across major muscle groups. Movements include squats, presses, rows, and core exercises performed with proper form. The steady tempo builds endurance and lean muscle without high impact. Participants gain strength, improved tone, and better posture.

Circuit Training

Circuit Training rotates participants through timed stations of strength, cardio, and core work. Each station challenges a different muscle group, keeping the workout varied and engaging. The format elevates heart rate while building strength and endurance. It’s efficient, full-body conditioning in a fun, team-style setting.

NEW: Core

Strengthen, stabilize, and move with control! This core-focused class targets the abdominals, lower back, and hips to enhance posture, balance, and overall performance. Exercises are fully adaptable, making it perfect for all fitness levels - whether you’re just starting out or ready to challenge yourself.

Cycling

Push your limits and feel the rush in this high-energy, indoor cycling class! Through hills, sprints, and intervals, you’ll build cardiovascular endurance, increase lower-body strength, and burn major calories - all while having a blast. Suitable for all fitness levels, each ride can be adapted to match your pace and goals. Get ready to ride, sweat, and leave stronger than when you arrived!

DanceFit

DanceFit blends easy-to-follow dance choreography with fun cardio intervals. Movements work the entire body while boosting coordination and rhythm. Because it feels like dancing rather than “exercise,” participants stay engaged longer. Expect calorie burning, improved heart health, and a great mood boost.

Exercise for Parkinson's

This specialized class supports individuals living with Parkinson’s disease through targeted movement patterns. Exercises emphasize big, intentional motions, balance practice, voice work, and coordination. The program helps maintain mobility and confidence while addressing stiffness and slowness. A supportive environment encourages safe participation at all levels.

Functional Strength

Functional Strength hits all facets of fitness, building strength, balance, flexibility, and mobility to help align the body and reduce injury risk. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels, it challenges active participants while remaining adaptable - meeting you where you are and supporting your progress.

Gentle Yoga

Gentle Yoga offers slow, supported stretching and restorative poses. Movements are easy on the joints and perfect for anyone seeking relaxation or mobility support. Breathwork and mindful pacing reduce tension throughout the body. You’ll leave feeling looser, calmer, and refreshed.

Movement & Mobility

Movement & Mobility combines dynamic stretching, joint mobility drills, and corrective exercises. The class helps release tight hips, shoulders, and back muscles while improving range of motion. Functional movement patterns support better performance in workouts and daily life. Participants feel lighter, freer, and more coordinated.

Papaya Pilates

A mat Pilates class that builds a balanced body with an emphasis on core strength, alignment, and mobility. This class is low-impact and welcomes movers of all levels.

Senior Strength

Senior Strength uses light weights and resistance tools to safely build muscle and bone density. Exercises are performed seated or standing, with clear coaching for form. Strengthening the upper and lower body supports independence and joint health. The class is approachable, encouraging, and functional.

Strength & Sculpt

Strength & Sculpt is a full-body resistance class using dumbbells, bands, and body-weight moves. You’ll work large muscle groups through controlled, purposeful sets. The focus is on tone, strength, and muscular endurance rather than speed. Expect stronger muscles, better definition, and improved metabolism.

NEW: StrongNation

StrongNation pairs body-weight training with high-intensity intervals set to music. Moves such as squats, lunges, punches, and core work sync to the beat for motivation. The class challenges cardio capacity and strength simultaneously. It’s a powerful calorie-burner that builds athletic endurance.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi uses slow, flowing sequences that enhance relaxation, balance, and breath control. The gentle shifting movements strengthen legs and improve coordination and posture. Research shows it may reduce stress and protect against fall prevention. Participants experience calm focus and smoother, more mindful movement.

Warm & Stretch

Warm & Stretch begins with light movement to raise the heart rate, followed by focused stretching. Muscles are gently lengthened to release tension and improve flexibility. The class helps recover from tougher workouts and reduce stiffness. It’s soothing, restorative, and ideal for all levels.

Yoga

This yoga overview class combines mindful movement, gentle strength, and deep stretching. Breathwork helps calm the nervous system while poses improve flexibility and alignment. Participants move at a comfortable pace with options for all abilities. It’s a whole-body practice for strength, mobility, and stress relief.

NEW: Yogalates

Yogalates blends yoga stretching with Pilates-style core strengthening. Expect flowing poses combined with targeted ab and back exercises. This mix supports posture, spinal health, and overall body control. It’s balanced, strengthening, and deeply supportive for the core.

Zumba

Zumba features energetic dance routines inspired by Latin and world rhythms. The continuous movement keeps heart rates elevated while feeling playful and social. Steps are repetitive and easy to follow, making it accessible to most fitness levels. Expect improved cardiovascular health - and lots of smiles!

Zumba Gold

Zumba Gold adapts Zumba choreography for beginners and active older adults. Movements are lower-impact, slower, and easier on the joints. Participants still enjoy upbeat music and fun cardio intervals. It improves balance, endurance, and confidence without feeling intimidating.

Zumba Toning

Zumba Toning adds light hand weights to traditional Zumba dance routines. The added resistance targets arms, shoulders, and core while maintaining steady cardio. This combination improves muscular tone and calorie burn simultaneously. It’s a lively way to build strength without heavy lifting.
